Creating a Colouring Book for Amazon Self Publishing

After spending all of October creating and inking my characters for Inktober, I’ve decided to import the Inktober Ink paintings into Clip studio and remake them into colouring book pages. It’s going to be a long process but I think they will translate well. A few tweaks here and there and asking my local expert on colouring books (my 10 year old daughter!) for ongoing advice, should help me on my way to publishing my first colouring book!

Characters like the one above will be available to colour in as you please very soon! It’s exciting to think that someone will colour my designs in any way they choose!

I will be posting my progress on this new project on my social media accounts as well as blogging about the process here on my website.

I plan to self publish using Amazons publishing site so I think a video showing the publishing side of things will also be on the horizon!

Thanks for reading and I hope you pop over to my Instagram account where you can see a painting I am working on at the moment which features all of the Inktober Characters and also get to know the lovely art community!

Ta for now! Lou 🙂
